Roman holiday for “the Gladiator”.

 

Russell Crowe, the New Zealand actor who played the character of  Massimo Decimo Meridio in the film directed in 2000 by  Ridley Scott  , is in Rome with his cheerful family. The star will shoot “The Pope’s exorcist” in Rome, directed by Julius Avery , where he is preparing to play the exorcist Father Gabriele Pietro Amorth.

The Australian actor, followed on Twitter by 2.8 million followers, is in fact in Rome with his family as a tourist in the same place where the film “Gladiator” is set, in which over 20 years ago he played the role of Massimo Decimo Meridio and who gave him world fame. The actor will shoot “The Pope’s exorcist” in Rome, directed by Julius Avery, where he prepares to play the exorcist Father Gabriele Pietro Amorth.
